CODE OF CONDUCT FOR SUPPLIERS
(Amended as of 2024)
Bevergani is committed to conducting its operations with integrity, respect, and adherence to ethical standards. We believe that our success depends not only on the quality of our products but also on the ethical principles guiding our business relationships. This Code of Conduct for Suppliers ("Code") outlines our expectations for all suppliers, including those providing finished goods and raw materials. We expect our suppliers to operate responsibly, in alignment with the values and standards set forth in this Code.
This Code draws on principles from the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Core Conventions of the International Labour Organization (ILO). Bevergani reserves the right to update this Code as needed and will communicate any changes to suppliers.
This Code applies to all suppliers providing goods and materials to Bevergani. Suppliers are expected to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as the standards outlined in this Code. When local laws conflict with this Code, we expect suppliers to meet the highest standard. Suppliers should also maintain policies and documentation to demonstrate compliance and provide this upon request.
Suppliers must ensure that workers are aware of their rights and responsibilities. This includes providing information on health and safety regulations, labor rights, and workplace policies. Suppliers are encouraged to maintain transparent communication to foster a positive and informed work environment.
Bevergani expects its suppliers to conduct business with integrity and fairness. Suppliers must avoid unethical practices, including bribery, corruption, and unfair competition. All business dealings should be transparent and based on respect for the dignity of individuals and communities.
Suppliers must comply with all applicable legal requirements in the regions where they operate. This includes laws relating to labor, environmental protection, safety, and trade. Suppliers are responsible for staying informed of legal changes and ensuring their operations remain compliant.
Bevergani values fair and equitable employment practices. Suppliers are expected to treat their workers with respect and provide safe, non-discriminatory working conditions. Employment should be freely chosen, and child or forced labor is strictly prohibited. Wages and benefits must meet legal minimums and be paid on time.
Bevergani is committed to minimizing environmental impact, and we expect our suppliers to adopt responsible environmental practices. This includes complying with environmental regulations, reducing waste, and working to lower emissions. Suppliers are encouraged to seek sustainable practices in their operations.
Suppliers are expected to ensure that materials used in products provided to Bevergani do not contain conflict minerals that finance armed conflict or exploitation. Suppliers should conduct due diligence on their supply chains and provide evidence of compliance with conflict-free sourcing requirements.
Bevergani reserves the right to monitor compliance with this Code. Suppliers may be asked to provide relevant documentation, participate in audits, or allow on-site inspections. Failure to comply with this Code may result in corrective actions or, in serious cases, termination of the business relationship.
Bevergani may amend this Code of Conduct for Suppliers as needed to reflect changes in our standards or regulatory requirements. Suppliers will be informed of significant updates and are responsible for reviewing and adhering to the latest version of this Code.
